F Ball Styccobond F45 Vinyl Flooring Adhesive is a copolymer emulsion adhesive with exceptional resistance to PVC plasticisers and is resilient in standard wet cleaning operations. This unique adhesive is also safeguarded against biodegradation, making it an excellent choice for varied flooring applications including those over standard underfloor heating installations. The F45 Vinyl Flooring Adhesive is highly versatile, facilitating secure adhesion for a vast spectrum of plasticised vinyl floor coverings and PVC backed carpets, fundamentally enhancing the durability and longevity of the finished floor surface.

The use of F45 vinyl flooring adhesive isn't limited to a particular type of base surface. It can be applied to a selection of bases, ranging from solid, smooth and dry surfaces of concrete, flooring grade plywood and sand/cement screed to STOPGAP smoothing underlayments. Floors that have been treated with STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes, quality grade asphalt, or other non-absorbent surfaces must first be treated with a minimum layer of 3mm of a suitable STOPGAP smoothing underlayment. The adhesive has a creamy consistency and a white colour that assures proper visibility during application.

It provides thorough coverage with approx 4m² coverage per litre when a 1.5mm x 5mm trowel or A2 ‘V’ notched trowel is used. This coverage rate potentially increases up to a total of 20m² per unit with the same trowel dimensions, thus ensuring substantial application even with minimum quantity. It can remain active for up to 30 minutes after application, depending on environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and the nature of the subfloor. This extended open time allows ample chance for adjustments or corrections during application while ensuring the adhesive's effectiveness and adhesive strength.
