F Ball F44 is a high-quality solvent-free, acrylic emulsion adhesive designed to offer high bond strength, robust initial tack, and an extended open time. It is particularly resilient, with protection against biodegradation, and is suitable for use over underfloor heating installations. This adhesive product can be utilised for the secure fixing of vinyl sheet and tile floorcoverings compliant with EN654, EN649 & EN651 standards. Furthermore, it can also be used for some textile floorcoverings that have PVC and polyurethane foam backings.

Several techniques can be employed to apply F Ball F44 adhesive. To reduce drying time and the potential appearance of adhesive showing through the vinyl floorcovering - known as adhesive shadowing, the adhesive can be trowel applied and then flattened with a paint roller. The "double drop" technique is another method that can be used to quicken the drying time. In terms of usage, a 15-litre bucket of F Ball F44 typically covers an area of around 60m2, although the actual coverage rate will hinge upon the condition and absorbency of the subfloor it is used on.

F Ball F44 adhesive in a 5-litre bucket has an approximate coverage of 20m2. As with the larger container, it is to be applied using a trowel that's 15mm x 5mm in size. Again, the actual rate of coverage for this volume of adhesive will strongly depend on the state and absorbency of the subfloor.
