F Ball Styccobond F21 Wood Block Flooring Adhesive 15KG is a superior grade adhesive, formulated with bitumenrubber emulsion for high-temperature applications specifically designed for usage through the process of dipping. This adhesive product is remarkable for its nonflammability and is safe from biodegradation, making it perfectly suitable for conventional underfloor heating installations. The adhesive can be effectively used to fix individual wood blocks of at least 12mm in thickness, crafted from a diverse range of wood types.

The application of STYCCOBOND F21 is versatile. It can be applied to STOPGAP levelling compounds, which provide a stable and smooth surface for the flooring. Furthermore, it can be used on a variety of subfloors made from different materials like concrete, sandcement screed, and plywood (with minimum 6mm flooring grade). This ensures that the adhesive offers a multitude of uses that can cater to different floor construction needs.

When used on non-absorbent surfaces like STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes, sound asphalt, and other similar surfaces, they must be initially skimmed with a minimum of 3mm of the appropriate STOPGAP levelling compounds. With a black colour, it isn’t noticeable on most surfaces, ensuring that the aesthetics of the wood blocks are not compromised.

STYCCOBOND F21 from F Ball offers an open time of up to 30 minutes, depending upon factors such as the temperature, humidity, and the level of absorbency of the subfloor. This allows enough time for adjustments and corrections during the application. The coverage rates are approximately 1msup2 per kg, with unit coverage of 15msup2. However, these rates would also be determined by the specific condition and the absorbency level of the subfloor.
