Information About F Ball Styccobond F61 Heavy Duty Contact Adhesive 5L
F Ball Styccobond F61 Heavy Duty Contact Adhesive 5L is a solution of synthetic rubber and resin in flammable solvents. The adhesive should be applied by fibre spreader or brush and combines quick drying with a long open time. It is suitable for use over normal underfloor heating installations and will withstand normal wet cleaning techniques. The formation of an ‘instant’ bond makes it particularly suitable for use on stairs and steps.
STYCCOBOND F61 can be used for securing PVC and rubber edgings, covings and nosings, floor and wallcoverings with backings of PVC, rubber cork and most textiles.
STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes and sound flooring grade asphalt must be skimmed with a minimum of 3mm of the appropriate smoothing underlayment.

- Open Time: 20 minutes – until the adhesive becomes touch dry then the two surfaces can be brought together within the next 30 minutes.

- Coverage Rate (Approx.): 2m2 per litre coating both surfaces
- Coverage Per Unit: 10m²
