Stopgap 400, a rapid set 10kg bag subfloor preparation and repair mortar from F Ball, is designed for repairing internal floors before applying Stopgap smoothing underlayments. Suitable for light to heavy-duty applications, it can be used on stairs and steps, and for general repairs to cracks and holes. The product is dimensionally stable, and is supplied as a pre-blended dry powder, suitable for applications between 250mm. Its protein-free composition makes it ideal for use in biologically sensitive areas.

The Stopgap 400 repair mortar's coverage is also impressive, offering varied coverage range based on the applied thickness. When applied at a thickness of 3mm, a single 10kg bag of the product provides coverage of 21m2. At a thickness of 6mm, the coverage area is reduced to 10m2 per 10kg bag, while at 15mm thickness, the coverage further decreases to 0.4m2 per 10kg bag.
