The F Ball Pressure Sensitive Styccobond F46 Adhesive is a versatile and high-performance product, ideal for affixing a broad range of PVC sheet and tile floor coverings. As a solvent-free pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive, it offers a safe and eco-friendly solution for both professional and DIY installations. When applied, it dries to a permanently tacky film, ensuring a strong and long-lasting bond between the flooring material and the subfloor. The adhesive comes in a white colour and has a viscous liquid consistency, making it simple to apply and spread on diverse surfaces.

Coverage rate of the F46 adhesive is impressive. Approximately 3m2 per litre can be covered with an A2 trowel, and with a 15mm x 5mm trowel, approx 5m2 per litre can be achieved. This gives a clear indication of the product's excellent spread rate and its cost-effectiveness. Thus, it is ideal for larger flooring projects where a high coverage rate is important. Despite its robust bonding properties, the Styccobond F46 adhesive offers flexibility, allowing for natural movements within the flooring without compromising the adhesive's integrity.

The F46 adhesive typically dries in about 40 minutes, though this can depend on factors like temperature, humidity and the absorbency of the subfloor. This quick drying time serves to speed up the installation process and offers a fast track solution to flooring projects. Do bear in mind, the drying time may also vary depending on the nature of the subfloor and the local climate. Therefore, it is always recommended to do a small test patch initially to understand the drying period better. Once dry, the adhesive's tacky texture provides a strong grip, ensuring that the floor coverings remain secure and in place over time.
