Product Information

Heckmondwike, a renowned carpet manufacturing company in the UK, has long been associated with producing high-quality and durable floor coverings, suitable for heavy traffic areas. Among the company's leading product lines are the Heckmondwike Broadrib Carpet Pale Olive and the Heckmondwike Iron Duke - both of which boast impressive features, designed to offer resilience and style in every setting.

The Heckmondwike Iron Duke series, a pioneer product first launched in 1967, is distinctive for being the foremost fibre bonded carpet; it mainly finds its application in educational institutions, universities, libraries, communal spaces in apartment buildings, retail outlets, and other public sector buildings. Its key features include its heavy contract fibre bonding which makes for a highly durable floor covering, and its ability to allow for easy, multi-directional cutting, aiding the creation of intricate shapes and patterns. This aspect adds to the carpet's visual appeal, offering a diverse range of design possibilities.

The Heckmondwike Broadrib Carpet Pale Olive variant, on the other hand, is expressly designed for use in computer rooms - its unique fibre composition (80.37% Polypropylene, 15.37% Polyamide, 5.37% Recycled Polyester) ensures static-free usage. It has an impressive wider rib structure compared to Supacord, along with anti-ravel and anti-fray properties. As a testimony to its durability, it comes with a 10-year commercial wear guarantee and is available in varied widths (2 m and 4 m) and thickness (7.5 mm). This particular product variant also offers excellent impact noise reduction (20db), thereby contributing to sound-proofing and acoustic benefits. It holds a BREEAM Rating A, indicating its high environmental performance. It is also available in carpet tile format, adding to its versatility and adaptability to different room shapes and sizes.

Ordered some marmoleum click from flooring hut. They've been excellent so far. They went out of their way to accommodate the colour needs we had, despite the website saying there was a minimum order. When some tiles we ordered came bashed and broken, they've been friendly, efficient and first class and sorting out replacement. So have Forbo - the manufacturer. We checked reviews beforehand, and although the flooring was slightly more expensive than some other places, it's been worth it to have a company that takes customer service seriously. Will happily use again and recommend to others.
