The F Ball Stycco Seal Silicone Sealant 310ml in white is a one-component silicone sealant that is specifically designed for use where seamless floor coverings meet non-porous surfaces. These surfaces can be comprised of various materials, including ceramics, glass, metal and numerous types of plastics. The sealant is supplied in a convenient 310ml cartridge, which can be easily applied with a standard caulking gun. Upon application, the sealant interacts with the moisture in the air to cure. This curing process results in a solid, rubbery and waterproof bead that is exceedingly resistant to fungal growth. This makes it ideal for exterior use where it may be exposed to varying weather conditions and outdoor elements.

The utility provided by the Stycco Seal is broad due to its robust and effective sealing properties. It is most often employed in sealing floor coverings to a range of fittings, such as sanitary ware, ceramic tiles, mat wells, pipes, and even gutters and gulleys. Beyond these uses, the sealant can be used in any situation that requires a durable, waterproof sealing solution. With a virtually non-existent slump in gaps up to 20mm wide, the sealant has a working time of 10 to 15 minutes until it becomes tack-free. At a temperature of 25°C, the tack-free time is approximately 1 hour, while the total cure time is generally 24 hours at 20°C and 50% relative humidity for a 6mm bead.

The Stycco Seal offers an impressive coverage rate, depending on the size of the bead applied. For a 6mm bead, approximately 11 linear metres can be sealed. This means that one 310ml cartridge can provide significant value, based on your project's size or the number of sealing applications you need to complete.
