Tarkett has introduced a new product: the iD Mixonomi Tessitura EMERALD Plank 100 x 500, a floor covering created with cutting-edge design principles. The product offers architects and designers scope to express their creativity, shaping unique customer experiences through flooring. The planks are ideal for high traffic areas as they're resistant to scuffs, scratches and stains. Additionally, the floor coverings are easy to clean and maintain, and are phthalate-free, which means they contain no harmful plasticising chemicals. Being heterogeneous polyvinyl chloride floor coverings, they provide robustness and durability over time. This product’s main installation method is glue down, a classic and secure way of laying floors.

The EMERALD Plank floor coverings do not have bevelled edges but they do have a surface treatment of TopClean XP, offering an extra layer of resistance to wear and tear, and adding slip resistance with an R10 rating. The impact sound reduction is 3 dB, making the floor coverings a good choice for spaces where noise reduction is a priority. They do not show any damage after the use of castor chairs, attesting their appropriate suitability for office settings. The planks are also suitable for underfloor heating, with a maximum temperature of 27°C, and have high chemical resistance, which adds to their durability.
