Gerflor creation 70 Gentleman Tweed 1076 is a synthetic floor covering that combines both aesthetics and practicality. The product is antistatic and belongs to abrasion group T, meaning it's highly resistant to wear and tear, making it suitable for areas prone to high foot traffic such as shops, offices and lobbies. Additionally, its design incorporates a Resilient Comfort Core to provide a softer, more comfortable surface underfoot. This floor covering is supplied in a tile or plank format, complete with bevelled edges for a seamless appearance.

This floor covering utilises a 0.7mm thick transparent wear layer, which protects the decorative design film beneath from scratches and scuffs. The Gentleman Tweed 1076 model is installed using a glued method. This ensures it stays firmly in place once set, ideal for busy environments. It also carries the advantage of having a crosslinked polyurethane surface treatment, known as PUR MATT. This innovative feature aids in the ease of maintenance, eliminating the need for initial polish application post-installation.

Gerflor Creation 70 Gentleman Tweed 1076 boasts excellent eco-friendly credentials, being 100% recyclable and made from 35% recycled content. This aims to reduce its environmental impact, aligning with the growing demand for sustainable building materials. It is also free from phthalates, a group of chemicals often used to soften PVC products, which can have harmful environmental and health effects. In addition to these benefits, the floor covering has outstanding technical properties, including slip resistance R10 – providing a safe walking surface even in wet conditions – and a reduction in impact noise by 4dB.

The Creation 70 range is suitable for both residential and commercial use, and comes in a thickness of 2.5mm, with a wear layer thickness of 0.7mm. Each plank or tile measures 91.4cm by 22.8cm, with 17 pieces included in each pack. In terms of fire safety, the product has a smoke emission/fire rating of Bfl-s1 – the highest possible rating for a product of this type. With Castor Chair Continuous Use clearance, this floor covering is also an excellent choice for office environments, where rolling office chairs are common.
