We all love our floors, whether it is laminate, carpet, vinyl, wood or any other material. And everyone gets stressed when their floor gets messy, so we have put together some advice for cleaning your floors clean and therefore keeping yourself stress-free!

 

 

 

Carpets

 

 

Vacuuming at least once a week is recommended, though it may be wise to vacuum more often if you have children, pets or allergies. Of course, professional cleaning products are available for luxury vinyl tiles if you prefer. Luxury vinyl tiles does not require a deep clean by a professional company. With regular maintenance – as described above – your LVT floor will give you years of life.

 

 

 

Sheet Vinyl

 

 

Sheet vinyl, like luxury vinyl tiles, are very easy to clean. You can either vacuum or sweep them (depending on which you prefer) once a week. You will also need to mop them once a week too. Sound familiar? If you develop a stain, you can simply wipe it away with a damp cloth.

Wood Flooring

 

 

Keeping wooden flooring clean is slightly trickier. Weekly vacuuming or sweeping is recommended. Warning: Be careful – vacuum cleaners may scratch your wood flooring. Weekly mopping is also recommended. Tip: Ensure you wring the mop head out thoroughly, as you do not want excess water sitting on your wooden floor.

 

You can perform a deep clean on your wooden floor once every six months using professional wood cleaning products to keep your floor in tip-top shape. Furthermore, one of the unique advantages of having wooden floors is that you can re-sand, re-stain, and re-seal them. Other Flooring
