Carpet – Soft Stripes

Stripes are a great way to add pattern to any home and a subtle striped carpet will prove to be popular this year. For example from Cormar Carpets their Avebury range in four different neutral colourways is trending already this year. The 100% pure New Zealand wool, offer a soft underfoot experience as well as being on-trend and hard-wearing.

Neutral colours

Neutral colours will continue to be another big trend in flooring this year. Lightened luxury vinyl tile flooring tiles provide a versatile and hardwearing look throughout the home. Like the cool tones of this Polyflor Camaro Loc Grey Mountain Ash. The variation in colour and design is a feature of this product intended to enhance the natural appearance of real wood but without the price tag.

Herringbone or Cheveron

A popular trend that isn’t going anywhere and is still one of the top flooring trends for 2022, are patterned luxury vinyl tiles. Either laid in a Herringbone or Chevron style, LVT can give that real wood look with a creative flair.

One of our favourites is the Luvanto Design Priory Oak Herringbone, safely used with underfloor heating. It is extremely stable, safe and strong and the perfect addition to any part of your home and will last for years.

Sheet Vinyl Flooring

Sheet vinyl flooring has to be a Flooring Hut favourite. It’s definitely one of our top flooring trends for 2022. It’s price point, fun patterns and colours means its a real versatile flooring product and this 2022 it’s going to be a big trend.

This Abingdon sheet vinyl softstep I-Tex Portland Islington offers comfort and durability for everyday, busy homes. The cushioned vinyl adds noise reduction and insulation, so now you know why vinyl is so popular!
