The F Ball Styccobond F45 Vinyl Flooring Adhesive is a high-quality, non-staining copolymer emulsion adhesive. It provides superior resistance to PVC plasticisers, and will withstand traditional wet cleaning techniques without succumbing to biodegradation. In addition, it is suitable for use over typical underfloor heating installations. This adhesive exhibits particular proficiency when securing a wide array of highly plasticised vinyl floorcoverings as well as PVC-backed carpets.

The F Ball Styccobond F45 Vinyl Flooring Adhesive can be applied easily to the various surfaces with smoothened underlayment such as concrete or sand cement screed and flooring grade plywood. Also, it can be utilised with STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes and sound flooring grade asphalt along with other nonabsorbent surfaces. When using STOPGAP surface membranes, it is important to note that the surface must be skimmed with a minimum of 3mm of the appropriate STOPGAP smoothing underlayment for optimal adhesion and durability.

This adhesive presents a white colour and has a creamy consistency making it easy to spread over surfaces to be adhered. It offers a coverage rate of approximately 4 meters squared per litre when applied using a 1.5mm x 5mm trowel or an A2 'V' notched trowel. This makes it a cost-effective choice as it covers a substantial area per litre, reducing the overall cost for larger projects.

Coming to the open time, which is the period during which the adhesive remains workable, is up to 30 minutes depending on the temperature, humidity, and absorbency of the subfloor.
