White LVT Flooring

Choosing White LVT Flooring

White LVT can range from crisp, clean designs to softer floors with grey, cream or natural undertones. Wood-effect designs can recreate the appearance of whitewashed or painted timber, while white stone and marble effects offer a different look for interiors where you prefer a tile-inspired floor. The amount of pattern, grain and tonal variation can make as much difference to the finished appearance as the overall shade.

Consider whether you want a predominantly white floor or simply a design with a lighter, washed appearance. Pronounced wood grain can soften the effect of white planks, while veining and variation within marble or stone designs can introduce grey and warmer tones. Cleaner designs with less variation will generally create a more uniform appearance across the floor.

Finding the Right White LVT for Your Room

White and near-white floors can respond noticeably to their surroundings. Natural daylight, artificial lighting, wall colours, kitchen units and furniture can all influence whether a particular design appears cool, warm or neutral. We recommend ordering free samples where available and viewing them alongside the permanent finishes in your room before making your final choice.

Once you have narrowed down the appearance, compare the individual product specifications. Installation method, wear layer, overall construction and room suitability vary between products, so choose according to where and how the floor will be used rather than colour alone.

If pure white isn't quite right, our light LVT collection includes a broader choice of pale shades, while natural LVT offers warmer neutral and timber tones. Alternatively, explore our complete range of luxury vinyl flooring.
