All Westex Carpets undergo a Stain Resist treatment which provides protection against most water and oil-based stains, enabling easier stain removal. A Moth guard is also applied to safeguard the carpet from moths and other wool-eating insects, although this is not necessary for synthetic carpets, as moths feed on keratin, found only in wool products.
